Gaming Experience
Background
I was born in a nice town in the middle of the Alp in 1977. I was soon attracted to computers and every thing related to science and technology. I started programming on a Thomson MO6 (American people probably don't know this machine... it can be compared to an Atari 800XL) followed by Atari ST and PC. I discovered rolepaying game thanks to my brother when I was about 10. Then, for many years I played D & D, Runequest, Cyberpunk with a little fellowship. In the meantime, I started playing RPG or adventure game the computer and french network (similar to MUDs in the USA). With the arrival and development of internet and since I had my first permanent and high rate internet line, I finally switched to MMORPGs. I rarely play paper RPG now.
How I joined the team
I was testing ARMI (one of the software technology designed for the game) for a project at work. Since I'm very interested in RPG, open software and team development, I was very excited to participate in the development of Magicosm. Even if my contribution is poor compared to other team members, I'll try to do my best to adapt Magicosm for French server in the future. It is the most insane (crazy?) project in which I took part and I'm convinced that it will be - no it is - a great creation.
